OUR GIRLS ENRICHMENT PROGRAM PARTNERS WITH EDUCATE TOMORROW. Finding purpose, power and passion – In an intense series of sessions, we dedicated our time and expertise to help prepare this group of dynamic young ladies to join the work force.Valerie Crawford (OUR GIRLS Board Member) had heart to heart conversations on healing the “child within” and forgiveness. She also gave them important tips on successful business etiquette. Michelle Brown (one of OUR GIRLS Ambassadors) assisted me as I taught an empowering session on how words shape our world, creating a vision board, and discovering beauty from within – a hands on tutorial on doing their makeup.
We discussed words of empowerment and how it relates to our inner beauty
I am very grateful that Pamela Mitchell, CEO of the www.Reinvention-Institute.com and Conchita Pleasant, Founder of www.NefertitiSecrets.com hair care products contributed to a big stock of donated products, which allowed each young lady to go home with a care package of hair care products, makeup and nail polishes! These young ladies were in the foster care system; and now that they’re 18+ years old and college bound, the 5 week internship with their professional mentors will give them the experience necessary for success on a career track!. They are transitioning into the workforce, furthering their education and I am certain will be leaders in society!! The ladies at EDUCATE TOMORROW are doing an amazing job! Thank you Alison Austin, Erica Myers and founder Virginia Emmons.
